The bin itself is also fairly large, meaning that the EZ Robot is capable of handling a good amount of debris. It also does well on bare floors. However, it struggles with dirt embedded in low pile carpet. It has good navigational capabilities and a tiny footprint.
Although the EZ Robot isn't as good as the Roborock S4, it's still an excellent choice for those who are looking for a reliable affordable robot. It is well-built and offers various automation features. It also has an impressive cleaning capability on floors that are bare and carpets with high pile. However, its maintenance requirements are a challenge and it has high recurring costs.

The IQ XL has a major disadvantage in that it is unable to overcome obstacles like power cords. It could mistake them for solid barriers and therefore not try to climb over them. It is also less effective or fast at navigating a space if it's stuffed with pet hair. This can tangle the brushes and slow it down.

You can set it to clean on a set schedule or activate at any time, or set virtual boundaries to block it from entering rooms that may contain fragile items or rugs.
The Shark AI Robot does a good job cleaning bare floors. It picks up debris effortlessly, like rice. It has a hard time getting rid of bulky, large particles from carpets with low pile and is not able to move around large furniture. It is in a do not disturb feature which allows you to use it at home without interrupting your daily routine.
Another benefit is that it uses LiDAR technology to map your home, allowing it to detect and navigate obstacles more precisely than units that rely solely on gyroscopes or infrared sensors. This lets it avoid crashing into delicate objects, and optimize dirt collection on various surfaces. In our cleaning test it was able remove 97.8% of debris from carpeting and hardwood floors however it was not as effective with high-pile carpeting. Its ability to maneuver makes it easy to move between furniture and onto high-pile flooring. It can also easily traverse over objects like electrical cords and rug fringes without getting stuck.
The bristles with a helix-pattern pattern are sturdy enough to manage and untangle long hair strings, other fibers and the like, and its brushroll has a retractable edge that can be utilized when it comes across obstacles. Its thin design lets it slide under furniture and proximity sensors monitor and adjust to obstacles. It can be set to start cleaning with a press of a button or scheduled for a daily schedule by using the app. The noise levels are moderate however it can be slowed down by using a do not disturb mode or custom scheduling.
The RV700 is more manual than the Roborock S4 and iRobot Roomba J7+ that is to be expected from a self-emptying model. But, it is better-built and easier to maintain, charges faster and clears more debris on the floors, including high-pile carpeting. Its navigation system can create virtual boundaries, identify and avoid obstacles and can also create virtual borders. This makes it the ideal choice for robotic cleaners you can "set and forget".
The RV700 Series doesn't have a safety best robot mop cliff sensor to prevent it from falling down stairs, which may be a concern for those living in homes that are taller. Additionally, it can't vacuum and mop simultaneously and requires you to switch between the two modes available in the application. However it is the RV700 Series is a less expensive alternative to the more advanced Roborock and iRobot models that come with self-emptying and cliff detection capabilities. Its primary selling point is the fact that it can be recharged and empty while docked at its base. This makes it an excellent option for those who do not need to empty the dustbin every time they use it.
